A few blocks away at Woodland Hillside, sustainability and artistry go hand in hand. Using salvaged wood from dead or fallen trees, this Trail-based business creates stunning home decor and personalized gifts that reflect the beauty of the Kootenays.

Their mission extends beyond craftsmanship—they’re also revitalizing a historic downtown building at 1148 Bay Avenue to expand operations and contribute to the community’s renewal. Woodland Hillside embodies the spirit of transformation and creativity, offering one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate nature’s resilience.

Stop by their grand re-opening in downtown Trail on February 22, 2025.

Continue your exploration at the VISAC Art Gallery, a cornerstone of arts and culture in Greater Trail. This gallery serves as a dynamic platform for local artists, with rotating exhibitions that captivate and inspire.
