We’re Hiring – Executive Assistant/Membership Manager

The Trail & District Chamber of Commerce (TDCOC) is seeking a full time Executive Assistant/Membership Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

The role involves supporting the Executive Director in daily operations, helping organize the organization’s activities, and maintaining high-quality membership service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing reports
  • Grant applications
  • Committee agendas and minutes
  • Using membership management software for serving members
  • Generating statistical reports
  • Contributing to membership growth and retention
  • Collecting data for reporting
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, partners, and the community
  • Engaging in professional development through various training platforms
  • Managing the POS system
  • Processing bank deposits
  • Liaising with bookkeeping
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining a clean and safe reception area and the Interpretive Centre
  • Following Chamber procedures
  • Coordinating with staff and contractors

The employee will receive continuous training from the Executive Director. Various training modules offered through different platforms. Supervision will be provided both in person and virtually, ensuring consistent support and development throughout the placement. The employee will gain invaluable work experience by learning essential professional skills while working with a membership-based organization. This experience will provide the opportunity to build both professional and personal growth.
